aged 24 from Ipswich, Co. Suffolk, prob. sent by his f. was freem. 6
May 1635, m. Esther, d. of John Pierce of W. had Joseph, b. 30 Apr.
1637; John, 28 Feb. 1639; Jonathan, wh. d. May 1643; Jonathan,
again, 7 Nov. 1643; Esther, 7 Mar. 1646; Sarah, wh. m. 2 June 1669,
Timothy Cooper of Groton; Jeremiah; and Isaac. He d. 4 Mar. 1691.
Esther m. 9 Dec. 1669, Jonathan Bullard. JOSEPH, Dedham, s. of
Samuel b. in Eng. came in the Increase, from London, 1635, aged 20,
with f. and mo. m. 1 Sept. 1638, Hannah, or Ann Phillips of Watertown,
perhaps sis. of Rev. George, had Samuel, b. 10 Jan. 1640; Hannah, 8
Aug. 1641; Sarah, 16 Sept. 1643; Dorcas, 24 Aug. 1645; Elizabeth
Sept. 1647; Joseph, 26 Sept. 1649; Jeremiah, 10 June 1651; and ano.
ch. shortly bef. his d. He d. 20 June (or at least his inv. has that date)
bef. the will of his f. Dec. 1654. His wid. m. 3 Nov. 1658, Thomas
Boyden of Watertown, JOSEPH, Watertown, s. of Joseph of the same,
m. 12 Apr. 1661, Susanna, d. of William Shattuck, had Susanna, b. 11
Jan. 1663; Esther, 11 Sept. 1664; rem. to: Groton, there was freem.
1672, and had Joseph, 11 Nov. 1667; Samuel, 4 Sept. 1670; Mary, 11
Feb. 1672; and Hannah, 7 Apr. 1674, to wh. Dr. Bond adds Jonathan,
without a date, and the assiduous genealogist of the name adds that he
was b. a. 1680, while on the same page he makes the f. d. 1677 wh. is
right, for the wid. m. 5 July 1678, John Fay, wherefore I doubt, unless
the Morse genealog. be wrong here. That author makes the b. of the s. in the
same yr. he tells me, wherein the f. d. 1667. JOSEPH, Medfield, s. of John
first of that name, m. 12 Nov. 1668, Priscilla Colburn, had John, b. 18 Aug.
1669, d. young; Joseph, 25 May 1671, or 10 Feb. 1672, H. C. 1695,
min. by Mather's Hecatompolis at some Ind. town in Conn. but aft. of
Dorchester, that part wh. bec. Stoughton, now Canton; John, again, 29
June 1673; Priscilla, 1675; Maria, 23 Sept. 1677; Moses, 1680;
Deborah, 26 Nov. 1681; Israel, 30 Nov. 1683; Nathaniel, 23 Jan.
1686; and Aaron, 10 June 1688; was freem. 1672, and d. 1689; and his
wid. d. 3 Feb. 1731. JOSEPH, Newbury, s. of William, by w. Mary
had Benjamin; Joseph; Joshua; Sarah, b. 7 July 1677; and Mary, 21
Jan. 1679, her f. d. six days bef. and she was bapt. 18 May foll.
JOSEPH, Dedham, s. of Joseph of the same, m. 17 Oct. 1671, Mehitable,
d. of Nicholas Wood, liv. at Sherborn, had Mehitable, b. 12 Apr.
1673, d. young; Joseph, 3 Apr. 1676, d. soon Elisha, 12 Dec. 1677,
prob. d. young; Joseph, again 25 Mar. 1679; Mehitable, again, 2 Nov.
1681. The mo. d. ten days. aft. and he m. 11 Apr. 1683, Hannah
Badcock, had James, b. 1 July 1686; Hannah, 5 Apr. 1689; Sarah, 12
Apr. 1692; David, 31 Dec. 1694; Issac, 14 Sept. 1697; Keziah, 30
June 1700; and Asa, 24 Aug. 1703. This w. d. 9 Nov. 1711, and he
m. 17 May 1713, Hannah, wid. of Joseph Dyer, and d. 19 Feb. 1718;
