w. m. 6 Jan. 1676, Phebe Gibbard, d. of William, wh. d. 19 Dec. 1720,
had Sarah, 27 Oct. 1676; Jedediah, 14 May 1678; Gideon, 9 Mar. 1680;
Caleb, 16 Aug. 1682, d. next yr. and Seth, 2 May 1684. He was a man
of large prop. at Wallingford 1670, and New Haven 1685. NICHOLAS,

1689; Abigail, 1692; and Hannah, 1702. ROBERT, Ipswich, freem. 6 May
1635, kept an inn, and in Col. Rec. 1. the name is spell. Andros as well
as Andrews; had w. Elizabeth nam. in his will, pro. 26 Mar. 1644, in wh.
also eldest s. John and younger Thomas are ment. but not d. Rebecca, w.
of Daniel Hovey, tho. her s. Daniel is; and d. Alice is, wh. m. William
Franklin of Boston, as also her d. Elizabeth ROBERT, Rowley, call. sen.
when he d. June 1668, leav. good est. for w. Grace. Ano. ROBERT was of Topsfield
1661, and in his will of 16 May 1668, pro. 1 July foll. he names s. Thomas,
Robert, Joseph, and John, ds. Elizabeth m. 14 Apr. 1662, Samuel Symonds;
Hannah, w. of John Peabody; Rebecca; Sarah; and Ruth. Prob. his s. Thomas
was in 1675, a soldier of brave Capt. Gardner's comp. k. in the
storming, 19 Dec. of the Narranganset fort. SAMUEL, Saco, came in the
Increase, from London, 1635, aged 37, with w. Jane, 30; and ch. Jane, 3;
Elizabeth 2; and a serv. sent by a goldsmith of London; had here James, bef.
ment. and d. bef. 1638. His wid. m. Arthur Mackworth of Falmouth,
and bore him sev. ch. Folsom, 33,123. Willis, 1. 33. 3 Mass. Mist.
Coll. VIII. 259. SAMUEL, Charlestown, d. prob. Oct. 1659, his inv. being
of the last day of that mo. SAMUEL, Marlborough 1667, made the survey
of that town, but was, perhaps, that Cambridge man, whose name is
common. giv. without s final. SAMUEL, New Haven, elder br. of Nathan,
b. in Eng. took o. of fidel. 1654, m. in 1661, Elizabeth only d. of deac.
William Peck of the same, had Samuel, b. 1 Feb. 1662, d. in one mo.
Samuel, again, 30 Aug. 1663; William, 9 Feb. 1665; John, 4 July 1667,
d. young; Nathaniel, 2 Aug. 1670; rem. to Wallingford 1672, had tw.
30 May 1673, wh. d. the same day; Elizabeth 17 July 1674; Mary, 27 Mar.
1677; Joseph, 1679; Margery, 15 Jan. 1681; and Dinah, 25 July 1684.
He d. 6 Oct. 1704, aged 69, in his will nam. w. Elizabeth four s. and four ds.
The date of wid. d. is not seen. SAMUEL, Hartford, s. of William of the
same, freem. 1669, m. Eliz. d. of Thwait Strickland[1], d. Jan. 1712, his will
being made 1, and his inv. dat. 29 of the same. He names in it s. Thomas,
Nathaniel, John, and Samuel, ds. Abigail Stedman, and Eliz. A. wh. m.
Joseph Day. Samuel, his s. was k. by the Ind. the same yr. above Deerfield.
SOLOMON, Hartford, s. of Edward of the same, d. 1712, leav. only
Mary. THOMAS, Dorchester 1635, had Thomas, bapt. 16 or 23 June 1639;
and Susanna, wh. m. William Hopkins; and d. 20 Aug. 1667. His will
