of fidel. 28 Nov. 1677. Perhaps he was s. of Edmund of Gloucester,
and m. 27 Mar. 1682, Hannah Davis, possib. d. of Ephraim of H. and
d. 29 Nov. 1696. JOSEPH, Haddam, s. of William of the same, m.
Ruth, d. of Jared Spencer, had William, Joseph, Daniel, John, Catharine,
and Hannah, says Goodwin; but no date of m. b. or d. of any one
of these could he give. JOSIAH, Windsor, eldest s. of Hon. Daniel of

, propound. for freem. 1672, m. Mary, wid. of Christopher Crow,
d. of Benjamin Burr (wh. was not a few yrs. older than him, and had

by w. Hope he had Latham, wh. d. 25 Feb. 1690; and Hope, b.

1648. MATTHEW, Boston, m. 4 June 1655, Abigail, d. of
Elias Maverick, had Abigail, b. 17 June 1656, was a mariner, and rem.
prob. 1661, or earlier, to Marblehead, where certain. he was 1668-74.
MATTHEW, Farmington, s. of John the first of same, m. Ruth,
d.
of John Judd, had Ruth; Matthew; wh. both d. soon; Mary;
John; Ruth, again; and Matthew, again; and d. 24 Sept. 1751. NATH-

Mary, d. of Thomas Meakins, had Mary, b. 3 Mar. foll. and Sarah, 25
Aug. 1665; and d. 30 Mar. 1669. His wid. m. 14 Dec. foll. John

under the usurpa. and of the Counc. of Andros 1687, d. 31 Jan. 1717,
aged 72, leav. no ch. NATHANIEL, Newbury, s. of Nathaniel of the
same, m. 15 Dec. 1685, Elizabeth Toppan, eldest d. of Peter of the same,
had Elizabeth b. 27 July 1686; but I kn. nothing more. NICHOLAS, Cambridge
1632, arr. at Boston 16 Sept. in the Lion, rem. to Hartford, where
tradit. says, he built, 1635, the first fram. ho. for capt. Talcott, wh. must
be one, if not two yrs. anticipat. He d. 2 July 1680, leav. s. Thomas,
and one or two ds. PEACEFUL, a soldier, Dec. 1675, in Turner's comp.
PIERCY, or PERCIVAL, Boston, freem. 1675, by w. Elizabeth had John, b. 1
