    John Judd, third son of Deac. Thomas Judd, married Mary Howkins, daughter of Anthony Howkins of Farmington. She was born at Windsor, July 16, 1644. John Judd was a Deputy to the General Court from Farmington, many times, between 1692 and 1710, and was often in public business. He was an Ensign, and after 1696, a Lieutenant. He died at Farmington, about 1715, aged not far from 75, leaving five children. He conveyed lands to his children by deeds, and they settled the estate without the aid of the Probate Court, His descendants have been less numerous than those of each of his brothers.
