neph. of Rev. Thomas of Saybrook, and Stephen, H. C. 1693, min.
of Norwalk, s. of the Saybrook min. appear together. Stephen m.
Sarah, d. of Rev. Samuel Hooker, and d. 13 Feb. 1746, aged 70, leav.
no ch.; and his f. m. 10 Aug. 1703, for sec. w. Mary, her mo. THOMAS,
Hartford, not s. of the preced. m. 29 Nov. 1699, Ann, d. of Rev. Isaac
Foster, his predecess. d. 19 Nov. 1731, aged 62, leav. only s. Joseph,
b. 7 Aug. 1703, Y. C. 1723. Mr. Porter assures me, that he was s. of
Thomas of Saybrook, and had, beside Joseph, wh. liv. to 29 Nov. 1760,
Isaac, b. 25 Sept. 1700; and Ann, 12 Apr. 1706; wh. both d. young.

Rachel, d. of John Wheatley, had Leah, perhaps rem. to Rehoboth, there
had David, b. 22 Mar. 1675; and d. a. 1679, for his wid. m. 22 Sept. of
that yr. John Loring of Hingham. Leah m. 1687, Thomas, s. of said
John. JOSEPH, Rehoboth, perhaps s. of the preced. had Matthew, b. 16
Sept. 1674; beside Nehemiah, wh. was bur. May 1677; Nehemiah,
again, 31 Mar. 1678; and Lydia, 5 Sept. 1680. NICHOLAS, Windsor,
s. of first Thomas, m. 21 Oct. 1668, Martha, d. of John Wakefield of
New Haven, had John, b. 13 Mar. 1673, d. soon; Hannah, 1 Sept.
1674; John, again, d. 20 Dec. 1675, very young; Martha, 1 Mar. 1678;
and John, again, 17 July 1681; beside Ebenezer, wh. d. as did the
preced. young. His w. d. 28 Oct. 1684; and by sec. Elizabeth Drake, d.
prob. of the sec. John, m. 3 Mar. 1686, he had a third John, 10 Dec.
foll.; Nicholas, 8 Jan. 1688 both d. soon; and Elizabeth 19 July 1692. This w.
d. 20 Feb. 1698, and he had third w. Hannah Strong, wh. d. 27 Mar. 1719;
and he d. 2 Aug. 1728. In Stiles some confus. of this fam. is seen.
SAMUEL, New London 1674, m. first, the wid. of the first Matthew
Beckwith, and, next, a. 1690, Hannah, wid. of Philip Bill, and d. in 1700.
She d. 1709. THOMAS, freem. 6 May 1635, of Mass. prob. of Dorchester,
for he rem. soon to Windsor, serv. in the Pequot war, 1637, m. Temperance,
d. of Nicholas Denslow, had Timothy, b. 10 Mar. 1639; Elizabeth 21 Feb. 1641;
Temperance, 27 Nov. 1642; Mary, 2 Oct. 1644, d. young; Nicholas, 21 Feb.
1647; Sarah 24 Mar. 1649; Thomas, 2 Feb. 1651, d. young; and Hannah,
18 Sept. 1654; beside John, 26 Jan. 1661; d. 28 May 1662, and his wid. d.
26 July 1681. Temperance m. John Ponder; Sarah m. John Phelps; and
Hannah m. 14 Aug. 1681, Joshua Welles. THOMAS, Windsor 1670, s.
of the preced. m. Hannah, d. of Nathaniel Cooke of the same, had one ch.
wh. liv. not long. He d. 28 May 1676, and his wid. m. 30 Jan. 1677,
Joseph Baker. TIMOTHY, Windsor, eldest br. of the preced. m. 27 Mar.
1662, Abigail, d. of Richard Vore, bad Timothy, b. 20 Apr. 1664, d. soon;
Thomas, 23 June 1665; Abigail, 11 Nov. 1667; Mary, 7 Nov. 1670; Sarah,
10 Apr. 1673; Hannah, 28 June 1676; and Elizabeth 26 Feb. 1679. He d. 31
May 1689, and his wid. d. 20 Dec. 1727. WILLIAM, Hingham 1635,
