Daniel Frost, wh. d. 25 Dec. 1688, rem. to Enfield, an early sett. with
William, b. a. 1664; Zechariah, a. 1666; and ds. Eliz. a. 1668; Mary, a.
1670; all b. bef. he went thither. Stiles, in Hist. of Windsor, 557, makes
him a Welshman, and his w. Scotch, neither of wh. seems prob. to me.
He was, perhaps, s. of the preced. had sec. w. m. 8 Sept. 1693, wid. Elizabeth
Elmore, had Sarah, 11 Dec. 1695; and Phebe, 1697; and d. at Hartford 1703.
Dr. Pease, in Hinman, 168, tells us, that William m. 30 Aug. 1693. Hannah, d.
of John Burroughs, had Caleb, b. 1695; and Joshua, 1697; d. 1753, aged 89;
that Zechariah, m. 15 July 1691, Mary Warriner, and a 2d w. 26 May 1696,
Mary Harmon; had two s. John, b. 1697, and Joseph; and d. 28 May
1741. Three of this name had been gr. in 1834 at Yale.

    BOOTMAN, JEREMIAH, Salem, m. 8 Oct. 1659, Esther Lambert, had
Mary, b. 4 July 1660; Jeremy, 4 Nov. 1662; and Mather, or, perhaps Matthew
or Martha, 11 Sept. 1665.

    BORDEN, BRYANT, perhaps of Malden, m. Elizabeth d. of John Lewis.
JOHN, came from Kent, in the Elizabeth and Ann, 1635, aged 28, with
w. Jane, 23; and ch. Matthew, 5; and Elizabeth 3; but it is not kn. where
he first sat down; yet in 1650 one of the name is found at Stonington,
whence he perhaps rem. 1660, to Lyme. JOHN, New London, may
have been s. of the preced. m. 11 Feb. 1662, Hannah, eldest d. of William
Hough, had John, Samuel, Hannah, William and Sarah, tw. and
Joanna, wh. were all bapt. at New London, the last was b. 1680.
He liv. at Lyme, and d. 1684. JOHN, Newport, s. of Richard, by w.
Mary had Richard, b. 25 [24] Oct. 1671; Amy, 30 May 1678 [1677]; Joseph, 3
Dec. 1680; Thomas, 13 [30] Dec. 1682; and Hope, 3 Mar. 1685. JOSEPH,
Newport, br. of the preced. by w. Hope had Sarah, b. 17 Apr. 1664;
and William, 31 Dec. 1667; rem. to Barbados. MATTHEW, Portsmouth,
eldest s. of Richard of the same, m. 4 Mar. 1674, Sarah Clayton,
had Mary, b. 20 Sept. 1674; Matthew, 14 Aug. 1676; Joseph, 17 July
1678; Sarah, 29 Dec. 1680; and Ann, 5 Jan. 1683. RICHARD, Portsmouth
R. I. by w. Joan had Matthew, b. May 1638, "the first Eng. ch.
b. on R. I."; John, Sept. 1640; Joseph, 3 Jan. 1643; Sarah, May
1644; Samuel, July 1645; Benjamin, May 1649; and Amie, Feb.
1654. He was, perhaps, br. of first John. SAMUEL, Warwick, a freem.
call. jr. 1655. THOMAS, Providence 1663, m. 20 Jan. 1664, Mary, d.
of William Harris of the same, had Mary, b. Oct. 1664; Dinah,
Oct. 1665; William, 10 Jan. 1668; Joseph, 25 Nov. 1669; Mercy, 3
Nov. 1672; Experience, 8 June 1675; and Meribah, 19 Dec. 1676.
This name was Burden, in early days, often.

    BORDMAN, AARON, Cambridge, s. of William, had Mary, b.
1674, d. soon; Mary, again, 1679, d. soon; Mary, again, 1689;
and perhaps other ch. was college cook, or steward, after his br.
ANDREW, Cambridge, br. of the preced. freem. 1674, m. 15 Oct.
1669, Ruth Bull, had Andrew, b. 22 Aug. 1671, one of emin. pub.
serv. as selectman, repo. town treas. 45 yrs. and near. as long steward
of the coll. beside Ruth, 28 Jan. 1673, the w. of Presid. Wadsworth,
and two or three other ch., was steward of the coll. d. 15 July 1687,
