    BOOTH, EBENEZER, Stratford, s. of Richard, m. Elizabeth d. of Richard
Jones of Haddam, had three s. Benjamin, Edward, and Ebenezer, beside
ds. Deborah, Elizabeth and Abigail, all liv. at his d. and he gave to Nathaniel
s. of his s. Ebenezer, and d. 1732. EPHRAIM, Stratford, eldest s. of
Richard, in his will of Feb. 1683, short. bef. his d. names w. Mary, and
minor ch. Richard, Mary, Joanna, Bethia, and cous. Samuel Hawley.
GEORGE, Lynn, by w. Elizabeth or Alice had Elizabeth b. 15 Mar. 1674; rem.
to Salem, there had Benjamin, 10 Mar. 1676; Alice, 6 July 1678; and
Susanna, 21 Sept. 1680. His w. was oft. a witness, 1692, against
witches. But he d. (as I infer) ten yrs. bef. for on 26 June 1682, his w.
brot. inv. of his est. The d. Elizabeth m. 16 Dec. 1698, Israel Shaw.
HUMPHREY, Charlestown, merch. m. Rebecca, d. of Rev.
Zechariah Symmes. JOHN, Scituate 1656, had Joseph, b. 1659;
John, 1661; Benjamin, 1667; Abraham, 1671; beside Elizabeth Mary,
Grace, and Judith. JOHN, Southold, L. I. 1659, refus. o. to Conn.
jurisdict. JOHN, Scituate, s. of John of the same, m. 1687, Mary, d. of
Anthony Dodson; and had Anthony, b. 1689; and perhaps d. bef. mid.
age. His wid. Mary m. 1697, Abraham Bardin, a Scotchman, as says
Deane; but he tells no more. JOHN, Woodbury, s. of Richard, m. 14
June 1678, Dorothy, d. of Thomas Hawley of Roxbury, had Thomas, b.
13 Mar. 1679; and John; but Cothren names no more. JOSEPH,
Stratford, youngest s. of Richard, in his will, of 14 Aug. 1703, pro. Jan.
foll. names w. Elizabeth d. Hannah, s. James, Joseph, Robert, David, and
Nathan, but ano. s. Zechariah is omit. His est. was good. By his first w.
Mary, the posthum, d. of Hon. John Wells, he had no ch. His sec. w.
Hannah, d. of John Wilcockson, brot. him Hannah,b. 1687; Robert, 1689;
James, 1691; Zechariah, 1693; Joseph, 1695; David, 1697; and Nathan
1699, wh. d. at 15 yrs. and she d. 1701. Third w. he took next yr. and
d. in yr. foll. MICHAEL, Roxbury, had Martha, b. 29 Apr. 1688, by a young
woman wh. had unit. with the ch. in 1681, own. her sin on 8 July after this ch.
was b. and had it bapt. on the Sunday foll. Perhaps the f. ran away, for no m.
is found. RICHARD, Stratford 1640, m. a sis. of the first Joseph Hanley,
had Elizabeth b. 12 Sept. 1641; Ann, 14 Feb. 1644; Ephraim, Aug. 1648;
Ebenezer, 19 Nov. 1651; John, 6 Nov. 1653 ; Joseph, Feb. or 8 Mar.
1656; Bethia, 18 May 1658; and Joanna, 21 Mar. 1661; was a selectman
1669, and on freem.'s list the same yr. and after 1673, prob. liv.
many yrs. He testif. that he was 80 yrs. old in 1687. His d. Elizabeth m.
19 Oct. 1658, John Minor. * ROBERT, Exeter 1645, rem. to Saco 1653,
or earlier, of wh. he was rep. 1659 to 1670, d. 1672, aged 68; was some
yrs. the preach. Prob. of his will, without date, made four days bef. he
d. was made 10 Mar. 1673, but the inv. was tak. 26 Oct. preced. By
the will his wid. Deborah, ch. Simon, Robert, Mary Penewell, Elinor,
Martha, and Rebecca are provid. for. His ch. were Mary, b. 30 Sept.
1627; Ellen, Feb. 1634; Simeon, 10 May 1641; Martha, 12 Apr. 1645;
and Robert, 24 July 1655. Martha m. 2 Oct. 1663, John Laighton; Ellen
m. July 1652, Nicholas Bully; and Mary m. 1647, Walter Penewell.
