Ewelme Hundred is in the southeast corner of the county of Oxfordshire along with the hundreds of Dorchester, Thame, Lewknor, Langtree, Binfield and Pyrton. As of July 2016 Ewelme Hundred is not covered by the Victoria County History of Oxfordshire.
A Vision of Britain through Time provides the following description of Ewelme Hundred from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1870-72:
- "The hundred contains thirteen parishes and parts of two others. Acres: 24,837. Population: 6,418. Houses: 1,385."
