was Rachel Veneman his second wife?--henk 15:23, 29 May 2012 (EDT)

In the 1900 census both Lenard and Aggie said that they were married since 1852, which matches with the mother's name on the death certificate of Anna (born 1864). So Rachel sounds like an alt name. I'm very interested in finding 1870 (and 1860) census records. Looks like in 1860 they were Tellman. --Pkeegstra 16:19, 29 May 2012 (EDT)

you.. you are amazing, this makes sence Hametman/Hameetman that souns like Hameteman, and this family comes from the same area as Venneman does, did I already say that you're amazing? This is what werelate is about! --henk 04:11, 31 May 2012 (EDT)

I agree. That is amazing. I'll definitely add that site to my list, since I lived a good part of my life in that Bergen-Passaic Netherlands-American community and have lots of people there. (I'm working on getting charter members from a CRC there to go along with First Lynden.) I'll go ahead and rename the pages sometime today. Any idea where she got the name Rachel? Maybe she just liked the name. --Pkeegstra 06:59, 31 May 2012 (EDT)
Next case: the wife of Cornelius Veneman. Looks like they miss the NJ state marriage index by two years. --Pkeegstra 07:09, 31 May 2012 (EDT)
I'm glad there were resources online to help solve this puzzle. Henk, I agree, this is exactly what WeRelate is about! I'll take a look at Cornelius' wife and add any information I can find. --Jennifer (JBS66) 08:12, 31 May 2012 (EDT)
