I think he must have gone by Henry instead of William?

William’s children’s names were given to me by Lyle Snook (handwriting a little hard to read, so there may be errors here.)

William and Mary B. are living in Baker Twp., O’Brien County, Iowa in the 1885 census with Cora, Arthur, Freeman, Jessie and Alman. In the 1895 census of O’Brien County, he and his family are living in Grant Twp.

“W.H. Snook in 1871 located on the east half of the northeast quarter of section 8, range 42. He came from Powesheik County and lives in the east part of the county.” This is in a section on the early history of Baker township.

W.H. and M.B. Snook are living in WarrenTwp., Powesheik Co., Iowa in the 1880 census with 4 yo Cora and 1 yo A.J.

William and Mary B. Snook are in Baker Township, O’Brien, Co. IA in the 1885 Iowa census living with Cora (9), Arthur (6), Freeman (4), Jessie (3), and Alman (1).
