They lived in Clarke County, Iowa. and moved to Alberta, Canada in 1910. William and Hannah Lambertson had a son, Robert William Lambertson, who married Pearl E. Meeker (my grandparents).. Linda Mauregard

Will and Hannah Lambertson came to Galahad,Alberta, Canada in 1910 from Iowa, U SA. They bought a farm and raised their familly there until their youngest son Stanley died from the flu, in 1918. At which time they moved to Spokane, Washington and 2 years later they moved back to Alberta, Canada.

The 1880 Iowa cen sus puts William Nelson at 16 years old. *** William Nelson Lambertson married Hannah Axtell in Murray, Iowa

• • • 31 May 2002 - as told by Linda Mauregard vis e-mail, Levi M. Lambertson's son John was the adventurous one and left Maryland in the 1830's. He headed west to pioneer in Indiana thus his branch kept coming west. Her G- Gr.parents William & Hanna (AXTELL) LAMBERTSON left Iowa for Colorado, with their family, before moving on to Grainland, Alberta, Canada. Their son Robert Lambertson, is Linda's grandfather.
