bur. 21 Mar 1858, Bishopwearmouth Cemetery, Sunderland, Durham: William Hutchinson of 2 Kirtley's Buildings, King Street / aged 74 [1783/4] / Army Pensioner
This burial has been linked to the William Hutchinson who in the 1851 census was living in the city of Durham on the basis that his son William married in Sunderland in 1860 and gave his address as Kirtleys Buildings, whilst there is no death of a William Hutchinson in the Durham district of anything close to the correct age between 1851 and 1871, in which census William's wife Jane appears as a widow.
