Utica Herald-Dispatch, 21 Jan 1908: CAMDEN William Collins died at the home of his son, Horace, on the Hillsboro Road on Saturday. He was born in the town of Vernon 84 years ago and was a son of the late Jebo? and Nancy Collins, coming to this town 41 years ago. October 12, 1850, he married Miss Louisa Durgee, who died a few years ago. He was an industrious farmer and respected by all who knew him. He was a member of the M.E. Church at Carterville. The following children survive: James W., New London; Mrs. Dewitt Potts and Mrs. Stephen Williams of Amboy, Mrs. Luke Russell, Mrs. George Skerritt and Horace Collins of Camden. The funeral was held today at 1 p.m. from the home, with interment at Ford Cemetery
