--GaleB 05:36, 20 January 2008 (EST) In the 1820 land lottery, Tilman drew a lot in Early Co., GA. There is no evidence he ever lived there so he must have sold it:

He married Martha Stone in Hall Co., GA, but this does not mean he moved. Jackson Co. was split and parts fell into Hall and Gwinnett Co's GA.

In 1850 he was listed on the Cass Co., GA census.

In 1860 Tilman was living in Paulding Co., GA. I see his last name as Driscal but it is extremely hard to read and his been transcribed by others in many different ways. Nontheless, it is Tilman and is confirmed by his and Martha's age and the names of their eldest children. Following is my transcription:
