    George was the only Driskell/Driskill in Jackson Co., GA, with the exception of Elisha (1804 tax) who moved back to NC.

    Nancy, wife of George, could have been a BEAUCHAMP (pronounced Beecham). However, she could also have been a TILLMAN. The Tillmans and Beauchamps of Somerset/Worcester Co., were entwined by marriage. I have tried to sort this out, looking for a Nancy (of correct age) in each family, but these were very large families and (so far) my search has not turned up anything helpful.

    Nancy was head of house on the 1820 census, but not listed in 1830. It is presumed she died between 1820-1830.
