Obituary ESSIG

Mrs. Susannah Essig, mother of C.O. Essig, business manager of the Sentinel, died Friday evening at the home of her mother, Mrs. Mohnesmith, in Adams county, not far from Williamsport. She was sixty-two years of age, and death was due to a complication of diseases.
She had gone to her mother's bedside, to care for her in illness. She was herself in ill health, but not until three weeks ago was her condition regarded as serious, when she suffered from an attack of heart trouble.
She had resided in the state forty-five years, and was for several years a resident of Fort Wayne. The husband, Adam P. Essig, died seven years ago, and Charles O. is the only child; other surviving relatives are her mother, three sisters and a brother.
Funeral services will be held Monday, at 10 a.m. from the residence, and interment will be at Williamsport.
