"Funeral services will be held at the Franklin funeral home Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock for Stephen Franklin Jackson, aged 81, of 320 Ann street, who died Friday morning at 8:15 o'clock in Camden-Clark Memorial hospital. The Rev H.K. Riffe will officiate at the services, and burial will be made in Riverview cemetery. The body will be at Franklin's until time for the funeral. Mr. Jackson leaves four sons, Sergeant Guy Jackson, First Lieutenant Robert L. Jackson and Private James C. Jackson, all of the U.S. Army, and Lewis Jackson, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Anna Simpson of Huntington and Mrs. Julia Bright of Columbus, Ohio, and two brothers, Benjamin Jackson of Woodsfield, Ohio, and John Jackson of Canton, Ohio.

    This record says Stephen was born in Athens Co., Ohio. His Find-a-Grave memorial page says he was born in Meigs Co., Ohio. I believe Athens county is probably correct as it is from his own words.
