Obituary copied from Cecil's Find-a-Grave memorial page: Cecil F. Jackson, 49-year-old World war veteran, of 613 Fourteenth street, died Saturday night at 11 o'clock in St. Joseph's hospital. He was seriously ill one week. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sally Gibbs Jackson; five children, Mary Elizabeth, Bernice, Billie Lou, Frank and Richard; his father, Stephen F. Jackson, of this city; four brothers, Louis and James Jackson of this city, Guy Jackson of Columbus and Robert Jackson of Honolulu, and two sisters, Mrs. Julia Bright of Columbus and Mrs. Charles Simpson of Huntington. Mr. Jackson was to be returned home this afternoon from the Ogdin mortuary. The funeral will be Thursday, the time to be announced. The Parkersburg Sentinel, Monday, 9 December 1940, pg. 2."
