    "The County Archivist found the entry of Sarah, daughter of Thomas Leonard, 23 Feb. 1633/4, and the baptism of Thomas, son of Thomas and Elizabeth Leonard, 20 April 1636, in the Publow register of baptisms.'

    Note that the FamilySearch database for Somerset Church Records incorrectly indexes both these baptisms as being at Priston, Somerset.

    '... Robert Fairbanks took to wife Sarah Leonard daughter of Thomas Leonard, borne in Spencefield in Summerset Shire.'

    TAG 53:103 explains that Spencefield (or Spenceford as given in TAG 53:103) was likely an error for Pensford, a parish neighboring Publow to which Pensford was attached prior to 1651 [TAG 53:103].
