Notes

This Ruben Coffey was the grandfather of Nancy Coffey, who married Revolutionary War soldier William Gragg, born April 15, 1758 (Nancy, born in 1816 was William Gragg's 2nd wife). Some sources claim that Nancy Coffey's father was a Ruben Coffey, this appears to be in error, as other sources have her parents as Joseph Coffey and his wife Isabella Lindsey.
