He was have been 78 this month, having been born May 25, 1890, in Cheyenne. Williams came to the ranch at Acme at the age of five with his parents. Other details are pending funeral arrangements. Ferries Funeral Home is in charge.

Services for R. Roy Williams, prominent Lower Tongue River rancher on Kirby Star Route, who died at his ranch home yesterday at the age of 77, have been set for 2 p.m. Tuesday from Ferries Funeral Home, the Rev. Robert Palmer, officiating, with burial in the family plot in municipal cemetery here. Williams was born in Cheyenne and came here with his parents in 1895. The family has ranched ever since on the Lower Tongue River. He and his surviving sister, Eunice, have run the ranch since the parents died. He was a member of the American National Cattlemen's association, Wyoming Stock Growers association and the Sheridan County Farm Bureau, as well as the Presbyterian church. Only his sister survives. Preceeding him in death were his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Williams; two brothers, Alfred and Bowen; sisters Edna Sturgis, Cora DeLapp and Ora May, Frances, Cly and Helen Williams.
