NICHOLAS WISE, PROMINENT FARMER, SUCCUMBS TODAY- Nicholas Wise, 84, of route 2 Elwood, prominent farmer of the Frankton community, died at 3 o'clock this morning at his home after several weeks illness. Born August 25, 1868 in Butler county, Ohio, he was the son of Michael and Elizabeth Wise. He was first married to Cora McWilliams in 1894. She died in 1914. He married Maude Harmon in 1917 and she died in 1949. He was a farmer and a member of the Frankton Methodist church and of the I.O.O.F. lodge at Frankton. Survivors include: three sons, Herbert of Frankton; Paul of Indianapolis; Alfred of Elwood; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. the body will be taken to the family home Wednesday morning from the Copher and Fesler funeral home. Funeral will be held at Frankton Methodist church, with Rev. O.C. Stroup, pastor of Frankton Christian church officiating. The time and date is pending.
