MRS. MAUDE WISE DIES FRIDAY AT ELWOOD HOME-

Mrs. Maude Wise, 69, wife of Nicholas Wise, died of a heart attack at 5:45 p.m. Friday at her home, route 2, Elwood. Mrs. Wise had lived in Elwood and vicinity her entire life. She married Mr. Wise in 1917 and was an active member of the Methodist church in Frankton.

Survivors beside the husband are: two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Johnson, Frankton; Mrs. Mildred Taylor, Farmington, N.C.; three step sons, Paul Wise of Indianapolis; Herbert Wise of Frankton; Alfred Wise of Elwood; one sister, Mrs. Gladys Cowley; four brothers, George and Lawrence Harmon both of Mansfield, O.; Henry Harmon of Baltimore, Md. and Richard of Anderson.

The body will be removed from the George Harper funeral home to the family residence. Funeral arrangements have not been completed, but the rites will be conducted either Monday or Tuesday. Elwood Call Leader, Saturday, 2 July 1949
