"In the attack by De Rouville on Deerfield, in 1703/4, Nathaniel Brooks and his wife Mary, with their two children, Mary and William, were captured and taken to Canada. Whey they were on their march thither his wife was killed, and the fate of their two children remains unknown. He returned from Canada in 1707."
