C:506 18 Sep 1707: Jonathan Brooks of Easthampton upon Long Island in the county of Suffolke province of New Yorke wheelewright with the consent of Mary his wife conveys to Robert Old of Springfield a parcel in Suffield about 11 acres. D:520 31 Mar 1725: Jonathan Brooks formerly of Suffield in ye County of Hampshire, now of Staten Island in the county of Richmond in the province of New York for £38 conveys to brother Joseph Brooks of Deerfield all interest in in both in Suffield & Springfield from my honoured father William Brooks late of Deerfield deceased by virtue of heirship, the rest I bought of my brethren viz Joseph Brooks & Nathaniel Brooks & Ebenezer Brooks which Ebenezer being the eldest son hath a double share, so five shares in fourteen.
