NANCY CROW, daughter of William Crow and Margaret Lewis-Long (widow) was "born in
Botetourt County, Virginia. She married William Montgomery January 5* 1801 in Mercer
County, Kentucky. Nancy died while family was moving from Kentucky to Missouri
(Before 1821) in the American Bottoms, a stretch of land from Alton, Illinois, south
to Chester, Illinois. There is no definate date of death of William Montgomery. Nancy Crow and William Montgomery had five known children: Believe there were others. James (more later), Andrew (more later). Margaret (called Peggy) (more later). Charles Crow (more later). Dowe Montgomery, Born 1812. Nancy Crow was a sister of Andrew Lewis Crow (item 76).
