Will of Matthew Patton

Matthew Patton of Rutherford, Cunty, Tennessee, weak in body but sound judgment and memory calling to mind my mortaity and knowing it is appointed for all to die do make this my last will and testament as follows:
1st I give my soul to God and my body to be decently burried at the descreation of my exr.
2nd All my lawful debts to be paid and of what goods God has been pleased to give me.
3rd To my dearly beloved wife Katie Patton all property to distribute to my children if she remarries then must have a sale and divide equally between children except daughters Margaret and Rhoda to get $1.50 each to make them equal to the rest.
Brother James Patton and widow exectors.
