Mary Tow was baptised on 5th June 1757 at Foston in Lincolnshire, daughter of Mary Tow, formerly Clark, and her husband William Tow, a labourer. It is quite possible that she was the Mary Tow who married John Ingram at Grantham in 1785, but this has yet to be proven.
