Person:Mary Murtagh (2)

Of four children who died, only Mary Ellen was buried in what became the family grave, and only she is remembered with an inscription. She was the last known infant to be lost.

Bridget and Hugh had already lost a Mary (disappeared by the next census) and an Ellen: it must have been very important to them to establish daughters with these names, but sadly they could not succeed.
