Mary Hall, d/o Percival, m., 1726, Thomas Rice; and d. 1749; she had two children, i. Mary, b. April 20, 1727; ii. Hannah, b. March 5, 1729; in the Leland papers we find that she m. Joseph Willard, and lived to be 90 years of age; Thomas Rice m. 2d, and had a large family.
[This passage is very confusing. The passage about m. Joseph Willard and living to be 90 pertains to the daughter Hannah. while Mary is mentioned in her father's will of 1746, Joseph and Hannah Willard are her only representatives in later documents.]

Thomas Rice m. Mary Hall, at Sutton, 1726, and settled at Worcester; where she d. Sept. 8, 1749.
[Note: this death record is not found in Worcester VRs, and given the birth of child with 2nd wife on 26 Jul 1750, this would be about when he would need to have married his 2nd wife??]

  3. Based on a marriage in 1726, a typical birth might be about 1706. Additionally, a baptism of Mary Hall is found in Lexington 21 Jul 1706 with no parents listed, along with a baptism of Stephen in 1709. This may well be this Mary?
