    O.E.S. Obituary
    Mrs. Percy Reed

The Charter of the Crystal Hope Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star is draped in mourning for the beloved Sister Mary Reed, who patterned her life on the teachings of the Emblematic Star. Affiliating when the chapter was in its infancy, she served in many capacities including the highest honor which can be bestowed on a member of a Subordinate Chapter, that of Worthy Matron.
Also for many years she reverently conducted devotions at the altar. Her Christian life serves as a pattern to her Sisters and Brothers who feel deeply their loss.

    Sleep on dear friend
    Sleep and take thy rest.
    Lay down thy heard upon
    Thy Savior's breast
    We love thee best
    But Jesus loves thee best.

    And so Good-Night
    Only "Good-Night" Dear Friend
    And Not "Farewell."
    Until we meet again.
    Before his throne.
    Clothed in spotless white
    He gives his own.

    Sure as we are known,
    Good-night, good-night, good-night.

Our deepest sympathy goes to our brother Percy and to the bereaved family.
    Obituary Chairman,
    Crystal Hope Chapter
