Info. from Maryetta Watrin stated that Mary immigrated about 1866 when she was 12 years old. She came to this country with her father, three sisters and two brothers (her mother having died in Belgium). BIRTH: Photocopy from the Parish records of Tintange, Luxembourg. LDS Microfilm #0617196. LDS 977.738 B51 Per the Obituary of Mary's sister Mary Katherine- "Mary Katherine Kauten was born in the village of Rommel in Belgium... During her childhood she moved with her parents to Condorf, in Luxenburg [sic], where her mother died in 1860... Mary Katherine was coming to America to marry and her father, Peter, said that if she was coming to America he would bring the whole family.

The godparents are Antonius Ansay and Maria Ansay on account of her youth Maria Catherina Mathia of Begonville acted as godparent.
