According to Lillian's family tree, "Louisiana Hagan, Lucy Ann in some records, was 12 years old in the John C. Hagin Census recods (sic) of 1850. Houston Co. was given as her birthplace. In 1882 she wrote:"I was married to my present husband in Nov. 1861." This was John G. Wright, and her letter says he was in the Commissary Dept. of the Confederate Army for three years. They lived at Lovelady, Houston Co. for the years 1862 - 1882 and were moving to a farm near Lampasas Springs, Burnett Co., Texas. Both were still alive in Burnett Co. in 1892. Her letter of 1882 was written to Anna Keller, daughter of William Keller (See No. 95) in Montgomery Co., Kansas. The letter said, "I was not much suprised (sic) but more than glad to form the acquaintance of more of my Dear Mother's relatives and to hear from Aunt Ruie again whom I have heard my mother speak so often." This is a reference to Zeruiah (Starr) Keller, widow of her mother's half-brother Daniel Keller (Jr.)

"The Wrights had seven children, according to this letter: the first had died in infancy; Walter, fourteen in 1882; Ina May, died when four; Mary, eleven in 1882; Ernest, nine in 1882; Rosannah, five in 1882; John, one in 1882."
