Lillian Rae Fletcher, 81, of 14471 Middle Road, Meadville, passed away and went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at her home after a year-long illness. Lillian Rae was born in Conneautville on July 1, 1928, a daughter of the late William J. Loughner and Alice Baker Loughner. She married John Victor Fletcher on Sept. 24, 1955. She was a loving wife and mother who was totally devoted to her family. Over the years, she worked as a sales representative for American Hosiery, Amway, Raleigh, as well as babysat for many neighborhood children. She enjoyed playing the piano, gardening, baking, playing cards, knitting and crocheting and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, John (Jack), of 54 years; four sons, Jacky Loughner and his wife, Debbie, of Cochranton, Mark Fletcher and his wife, Connie, of Harmonsburg, Ricky Fletcher and his wife, Kelly, of Geneva, Ill., and Jon and Caryn Fletcher of Conneaut Lake; two daughters and a stepdaughter, Cindy Haas and her husband, Scott, of Meadville, Debbie Gladis and her husband, Patrick, of Meadville, and Betty Lou Conover of Hadley; 23 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Morris of Conneautville; and two brothers, Charles (Wanda) Loughner and Richard Loughner, both of Conneautville. She was preceded in death by five sisters, Ruth King, Jean Adkins, Alice Slivka, Katherine Davis and Annabelle Keefer; and two brothers, Harry and Robert Loughner. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Roofner-Collins Funeral Home, 544 Chestnut St., Meadville. The funeral will be held at the funeral home Wednesday at 11 a.m., with Joe Kaufer, chaplin of Southern Care Hospice, officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
