Facts and Events
Joshua apparently followed his father to the Potomac River area because he sold a property called "Timber Neck" at Elk Ridge, Ann Arundel County, Maryland along the Patapsco River in 1737. Probate of his estate is also to be found in the Fairfax County, Virginia records in the 1750's. Joshua's first name might have been Joseph. From the Fairfax County, Virginia Will and Inventories 1742-1801 compiled by J. Estelle Steward King: page 25: Sarah Harp a witness to the will of Rebecca Wheeler on April 15, 1758. Page 68: C.
