Ralston, John - entered service 1778 in Greenbrier County, Virginia, in Virginia regiment; resided in Virginia for 4-5 years after Revolutionary War, then to Kentucky, where granted Pension in 1832 age 77 in Harrison County; query letter in file 1914 from great granddaughter (on father's side) Mrs. Josie Sanders Shawham of Segourney, Iowa, states her grandfather Henry Sanders of Virginia was a War of 1812 soldier.
