Acquisition of Land from Chalkley's:


  • Page 193.--22d August, 1765. Nicholas Leeper, of Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, to John Leeper, of Augusta, £20, 200 acres on Naked Creek whereon James Leeper, deceased, formerly lived. Delivered: John Leeper, June, 1777.


Disposition of Land from Chalkley's:


  • Page 275.--17th March, 1778. John Leeper and Susanna, and Gawin Leeper, to Anthony Aylor. 150 acres patented to James Leeper; 100 acres patented to John Leeper, 20th July, 1768, corner land he lives on.
