    HEPLER
    John Hepler, of Shenandoah, married Miss Harness. Their son, Jacob Hepler, pioneer of Audrain county, Mo., was grandfather of Rev. John Hepler Wood, banker, minister of the Christian (Diciples) Church and president of Culver-Stockton College, Missouri.
    Another son, Samuel Hepler, born 1785, of near Goshen, Rockbridge county Va. married Katherine Lair, and was grandfather of Rev. J. Newton B. Hepler, distinguished Baptist minister of Missouri.
