- ↑ BIOGRAPHY: Clive operated a successful butter and egg business in Detroit. He started the business in Detroit, in 1950 and sold the business to retire in 1966. He was a Shriner, was president of his Plum Hollow Golf Club 4 times. He was an honorary member of Detroit Golf Club, Chairman of Detroit District Golf Association, helped organize and build the Michigan Seniors Golf Association and served as governor. Clive was elected to the Michigan Amateur Sports Hall of Fame and was known as Mr. Golf of Michigan. John outlived all his children.
