   Married 27 Jan 1814 in Augusta County VA to Susan Barnhart; Perhaps born in 1787 to match the age on his tombstone, though probably no one in 1882 correctly remembered his birth year; living in Augusta County VA in 1820 and 1830; inherited 128 acres from his father there 1827; was there as of May 1833; in Holland Grove, Lawrence County IL (named Washington, Tazewell County later) by Jan 1837; bought two lots in Washington IL 4 Mar 1847; there in 1850; removed to Marion towndhip, Harrison County MO between 1850 and 1860, living with son William F. in 1860; no record of him in the probate office, Harrison County MO.
