Nov. 25, 1774, Augustine and Catherine Coffman of Dunmore Co., Va., deed 142 acres to Jacob, George, and Andrew Cofman, sons of Jacob Cofman deceased, part of 424 acres granted by Fairfax in 1772. [Patent Bk. Q, page 5]. (Note: record establishes sons of Jacob in deed by Jacob's parents to their grandsons Jacob, George and Andrew).
