!BIRTH: Arsenault, H&G, p. 535 (Port Royal), born 1716. Kept in captivity by the English at Halifax, along with his family, until the peace treaty of 1763. He was at Saint James on the Mississippi in Louisiana in 1766.

RESIDENCES: Is he the Honore DUART who was present at Fort Edwards in 1762-1763? Family size was 5.

!BIRTH-PARENTS-MARRIAGE-CHILDREN-RESIDENCES-DEATH: On Family Group Record sent by Edward DOMANGUE in May 1996. Honore DUHON, born 24 Jul 1716, son of Jean Baptiste & Agnes HEBERT (Reference: Milton & Norma Rieder, ACADIAN CHURCH RECORDS, v. 3, pp. 3-4). He married around 1742 in Nova Scotia to Anne Marie VINCENT, daughter of Michel & Anne DOIRON; six children listed. He lived in Grand Pré, Acadia; emigrated to Louisiana via Martinique (Reference: Jehn, ACADIAN DESCENDANTS, v. 1, p. 31). After 1766 he lived in Ascension Parish on the West Bank at present "Sunshine Bridge." He died on 31 Dec 1763 at 69 years; recorded in (ASC-1, 191).
