Person:Henry Meekins (2)

Henry Meakins was born on 29th January 1761 and baptised five days later at Woburn in Bedfordshire. He was the son of Ann Meakins, formerly Wilson, and her husband John Meakins. Henry was the eldest of their nine children.

On 1st April 1793, aged 32, Henry married Mary Daughborn at Woburn. They do not appear to have had any children.

Henry’s mother died in June 1793, a couple of months after Henry’s marriage.

Henry died at the age of 42, being buried at Woburn on 24th February 1803. Mary survived him, as did his father.
