On 19th May 1829, aged seventeen, Hannah married James Williams. They had at least four children together, although the youngest died when only two years old. The 1841 census finds Hannah, James and their children living at Brickhill Road in Leighton Buzzard. Hannah's brother John and his family were living in the same house.

Hannah died at the age of 36. She was buried at Leighton Buzzard on 20th August 1848. Hannah's husband James and son John have not been traced after the 1841 census. Hannah's two surviving daughters each appear in the 1851 census, with Hannah's daughter Mary living with Hannah's sister Caroline.
