Hoppe will officate . Burial at the Benzonia Twp cemetery. Grace M. Priest - Obituary - Died Dec. 18, 1993 Benzonia - Grace M. Priest, 94, of Benxonia, died Saturday morning at Manistee Hights Care Center in Manistee. A riesident of Benzie county her entire life, she was a member of the Benzonia Congregational church. Born May 6, 1899, in Benzonia Township, she was the daughter of Adam & Matilda "Lung" Long. On March 8, 1919, in Joyfield township she married Harry Priest, who preceded her in death in May 1941. On June 14, 1942, in Benzonia, she married Orla Priest, who preceded her in death in Aug. 1967. She was also preceded in death by ann infant daughter, Maude; one grandson, Peter Denune; One grandson Christphor Priest; five brothers and three sisters. She is survived bu three daughters , Betty Lou "Fred" Wortelboer of Frankfort, Dorothy G. "Eugene" Corwin of Mount Morris and Roberta M. Denune of Beulah. eight sons Donald H. "Lillian" of South Milwaukee, Wis, Erwin L. "Yvonne" of Canton, Harry "Lois" of Benzonia, Benjamin F. "Mary" of Beulah; William E. "Sheila" of Beulah; Thomas F. "Henrietta of Beulah,; Charles A. "Mary" of Benzonia; and Lloyd K. of Beulah; one brother Harvey Long of Benzonia; One sister Margaret Clark of Littelton Colo.; 23 grandchildren 41 great grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren, and numerous neices and nephews. Services will be held at 1: p.m. Monday at the Bennett - Jonkhoff funeral home in Beulah. The Rev. Forrest G. Hoppe will officiate, burial will be in the Benzonia township cemetery. Friends may call from 11: a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to Benzonia Congregational church, Benzie County Home Health Care or the Diabetes Association.
