Notes

There was a George Shipler that married Elizabeth Shull on 23 December 1810 in Frederick County, Virginia [Virginia Marriages 1740-1850]. Possibly this George or perhaps a son? Needs additional research.

Possible father: Henry Shipler, who was living in Augusta County in the early 1750's [records in Chalkley's].

There was also a Robert Shipley living in Augusta County in 1773 that may have been related.
