She was born in Amboy, NY. She graduated from Crouse-Irving Hospital as a registered nurse. She was a member of Catholic Daughters Court Pere LeMoyne, Holy Family Golden Agers and Altar Rosary. She was predeceased by her husband, John McSweeney; her daughter, Marie McSweeney; her two brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her sons, Thomas McSweeney of OH and Edward McSweeney of MA; her sister- in-law, Catherine McSweeney of Oswego; five grandchildren: Thomas (Adriane) McSweeney of WA; Patricia (John) Arenth of PA; Anne (Kevin) Fox of OH; Daniel McSweeney of OH; and Mary (Matthew) Paulus of OH; three great-grandchildren: Keenan Arenth of PA, Nicholas Fox of OH and Timothy Paulus of OH; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services: 9 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Chapel, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Peter Williams. Spring burial: St. Mary's Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours: 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Sugar Funeral Home, Inc. 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Luke's Health Services, 299 E.
