Ernest L. RENFROW died Monday evening at a local hospital following a year of failing health. He was 85. A native of Sparks, Nev., Mr. RENFROW settled in San Benito County 65 years ago. He was self-employed as a truck driver and also worked many years as a carpenter.

Mr. RENFROW is survived by his wife, Mary S. RENFROW of Hollister; sons Dick RENFROW of Hollister and Timothy James RENFROW III of Hollister; daughter Pat SNYDER of Hollister; stepsons Mel SILVEIRA, Bill CUNHO and Ray CUNHO, all of Hollister; brother Milton RENFROW of South San Francisco; sister Mae LAVERONI of Hollister; 15 grandchildren and 2 gr-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 11am Friday at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home, with friends also invited to be with the family at the family home after services.
