Elnathan sonne of Daniel Allen, & Mary his wife was born 7 . 11 . 1666.

Citing letter from widow of late Rev. Wilkes Allen, "Elnathan Allen, with his brother, Obadiah, removed from Hopkinton to Shrewsbury ... Elnathan died, 1734, by falling from a load of hay". Ward goes on to suggest this is the son of Daniel and Mary Allen, but notes that Obadiah was actually a son. In 1736 Obadiah Allen quitclaimed in favor of "my brother, Israel Allen" land etc. "formerly my Hon. father's, Elnathan Allen, late of Shrewsbury, deceased".
