Elizabeth Cain was baptised on 17th September 1809 at St Paul's Walden in Hertfordshire. She was the first child of Mary Cain formerly Parsons and her husband Henry Cain, a tanner, who had married the previous October. Sadly Elizabeth died young, being buried less than a month after her baptism.
